During the past thirty-seven years Susan Weisend has shown her work both nationally and internationally in numerous group and solo exhibitions in the United States, China, Japan, Slovakia, Germany, Ireland, and Canada. She is represented in public and private collections including: The Sanbao Art Institute in Jingdezhen, China, The Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University, The Bardiana Collection at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, and the Juniata College Museum of Art in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Weisend has recently participated in peer reviewed juried exhibitions at the National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show, Delmar College in Corpus Christi Texas, the Printed Image 5 at Sabatini Gallery in Topeka Kansas, and the McNeese International Works on Paper Exhibit at McNeese State University in Monroe Louisiana.
Professor Weisend is the chair of the art department at Ithaca College and a member of the Southern Graphics International Printmaking Association. She received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
